- Model FastIron SX 800 posiada 8 gniazd interfejsów, redundancję zasilania (N+1), w tym dla modułów z obsługą PoE, redundancją modułu sterującego (Management module), redundancja modułu przełączającego (Switch Fabric)
- Model FastIron SX 1600 może zapewnić interfejsy dla 36 nieblokujących się interfejsów 10 Gb porty lub 384 porty Ethernet 10/100/1000 ze wsparciem PoE (802.3af).
- Model FastIron SX 1600 posiada 16 gniazd interfejsów, redundancję zasilania (zanim N+3), w tym dla modułów z obsługą PoE, redundancją modułu sterującego (Management module), redundancja modułu przełączającego (Switch Fabric)
Oprogramowanie tego przełącznika ma zaawansowaną funkcjonalność i obsługę protokołów routingu RIPv2/OSPF
/BGP-4/PBR/GRE/PIM I IPv6 itp.. Architektura sprzętowa przełącznika zapewnia minimalne opóźnienia w ruchu, jakość usług, bezpieczeństwo i odporność na awarie.
