Cisco Catalyst 1000 – Linia wysokiej jakości przełączników sieciowych z poziomem dostępu w ustalonej konfiguracji. Służą do łączenia komputerów osobistych i innych jednostek sieciowych z siecią lokalną.
Seria przełączników Cisco Catalyst 1000 wyposażone w modele urządzeń oparte na 8, 16, 24 M 48 portów Gigabit Ethernet. Oprócz zwiększenia produktywności, zmiany z jednostek młodszych na starsze różnią się liczbą Uplink-interfejsy.
Sterowanie przełącznikami odbywa się za pomocą Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), klasyczny standard Kabel RJ-45 Lub USB. Możliwe jest także sterowanie urządzeniem poprzez kanał Bluetooth. Aby zdalnie sterować przełącznikami, przez tablet lub komputer, konieczne jest zintegrowanie USB złącze Bluetooth adapter.
